This is the ultimate cake fail class with two of London’s worst bakers as your guides. They’re incredibly skilled at not being able to bake or decorate and can guide you how to make your dream cake into a compete disaster. Please bring photos of your favourites cakes. People can work in pairs, groups or on their own.

Suitable for solos, couples, friends, families, bespoke events or groups celebrating. Book onto a class or book your own group from between 9am and 6.30pm. Perfect for birthday fun too!

This class is approximately 4 hours and refreshments are provided please feel free to BYO and snacks.

Adult only classes available.

The workshop is suitable for all experience levels and runs for 4 hours.

Aprons are provided, but most people prefer to bring their own so they show off their aprons and give twirls.  feel free to dress up. We love a bit of everything from so be inspired by your favourite things in life and bring your imagination!

Refreshments are provided – however feel free to BYO, snacks and nibbles. 

Please let us know if you are celebrating a Birthday or Anniversary on booking.

Please inform us of dietary requirements or allergies.

Please note this is a comedy baking class. Cakes will be edible and taste lovely but they might look like you’ve dropped it or its been run over by a lorry.

There will be inuendos, soggy bottoms and sillyness. Fun, laughter and kindness.

There will be a prize for the best cake fail.

Health and Safety

Long hair should be tied back. 

All participants should wear shoes with flat soles and covered toes.

We are not liable for any damage which occurs to clothing. 

We do not permit smoking of any kind including vaping inside or outside on the terrace.

Cancellation Policy

Our workshops are non refundable but we always allow customers to rebook to either the same class or another class to the same value or below advertised on the Cook and Craft Collective website within a 12 month period.  

If you are feeling unwell please do not attend the class let us know by email: and we’ll get you rebooked.

What should I bring with me?

A smile and a sense of fun! We provide all materials unless otherwise stated. Please dress appropriately for the session too.

I have no experience? Will I keep up?

You’ll be at an advantage. Maybe you’ll win the best Epic Cake Fail.

I’ve fallen ill or have had an accident should I still come?

No, if you’re ill, pop your feet up and get better soon. We will rebook you up to 3 times. If you’ve been in an accident and can’t make it to the class or you are concerned that you will not be able to participate in the class, get in touch and we can discuss how to accommodate you or whether you’d prefer to rebook.

I have a disability can I participate in the class?

Yes, get in touch with us in advance and we can discuss how best to accommodate your needs. We are keen to welcome everyone equally.

Are mobile phones allowed?

While the focus should be on the class itself we understand that you may want your phone on in case of an urgent call. We ask any calls taken are not disruptive to the class, there are quiet areas available.

Are photos allowed?

In the adult only classes photos are positively encouraged! If you do not want to be in any photos that is ok too! Just let us know at the start of the session and you can choose whether the focus of your photos will be each other or the class! In the family classes it will be up to the guardian present if photos are allowed. In the children only classes they will have the option to photo what they are making/learning as appropriate but not of each other unless permission is granted in advance.

Are all your classes based in Clapham?

In short, no. Our base in is Clapham however we have a growing number of venues around both London and the UK. For an additional cost we can also travel to a venue nearer to you. Just ask and we will discuss options.

I would like to book one of your classes for a larger group. Is this possible?

Our main base is designed for small classes only however we do travel to larger venues for bespoke classes. Get in touch for details.
